The "Topless
Sandal" FAQ
Q: When I try to order online, it will not allow
me to choose the size or color I need...
A: When you place the order, there will be a place to write
comments. This is where you need to indicate your size and specify if you are
wanting men's or women's shoe size. If you forget to make the note
in the comments section, you may call us with the correct size or send
an email.
If you have a color preference for the women's shoe, please provide that
as well. The men's shoes
will come in designs and I don't think I have two alike, so it is
difficult to place them all on the website to view. You are welcome
to phone me to find out about different designs. It really doesn't
matter, because once your foot is on the shoe, you will not be able to
see the design!
Availability of colors will change as my stock level gets low, so
providing a second choice will be good.
Q: How do they stick to your feet?
A: It contains a water-washable adhesive that is built into the sandal
and is 100% reusable.
Q: Do they leave the bottom of your foot sticky?
A: No, The adhesive stays in the sole and not on your skin.
Q: How long can you wear them?
A: They can be worn all day long, indoors or outdoors.
Q: How long will
the shoes last?
A: Two or Three years...according to how much you are wearing them. The
Glue only has a one year warranty.
Q: If I order
several pair of shoes, do I have to pay more for shipping?
A: No, in fact it would be great
if you got a few friends to go in with you to order together to save on
shipping. There is a one price shipping fee of $4.85 regardless the size
of your order.
Q: Can I wear them on a rainy day?
A: It is not a good idea to wear them on a day that you know it will be
raining unless you bring along a backup pair of shoes. I've been caught
in town when the rain came and my topless sandals came loose in places
on my foot and I thought I would be stranded going barefoot!! When they
are brand new, the adhesive is stronger, so they may hold up on a rainy
day when first opened.
Q: If they come off, can't they be dried and worn
again?
A: Not without reactivating the glue! Once removed, they need to be
washed with a mild soap and scrub brush and allowed to air dry, or if
you want to wear them quickly, use a blow dryer. Your feet also need to
be clean and dry. I am finding that the women's solid color topless
sandals can be worn a few times before having to reactivate the glue.
Q: How do you take the sandals off?
A: Simply peel the sandals off starting with the heel.
If you have difficulty removing, or if it is painful, get them wet
before removing. If your feet are sensitive, use socks with topless
sandals, or do not use them!
Yes, they can be worn with socks
too!
Q: Do the sandals feel strange on your
feet when you are wearing them?
A: At first, it may feel a little strange, but after a while, you don't
even notice them on your feet. You have all the comforts of being
barefoot without the pain. The nice thing about these shoes is that you
can run in them! That is not easy to do with flip flops.
Q: Can I pick the colors that I want?
A: Yes, email me your color preference for the women's shoe. Men's shoes
will come in designs and I don't think I have two alike. You are welcome
to phone me to find out about different designs. It really doesn't
matter, because once your foot is on the shoe, you will not be able to
see the design!

Q: Is there a
guarantee?
A. The glue on the shoes has a one
year warranty. If it fails during this time, please return the used
shoes plus $4.50 for S&H directly to the manufacturer. This information
will be on the outside package of the shoes. The price for S&H is
subject to change.
Q: Can I cut the shoes down to fit my young child?
A. We tried that when our children were too young to wear the
women's small and it didn't work very well. Children do love them, but
you should probably have them wait until they can wear the women's small
size. Our oldest son took his very sharp knife and cut down a pair
to fit our three year old by using his shoe as an outline and it worked
pretty good.
Q:What if I step
on the shoe to wear it and then notice that I don't have my foot
centered correctly?
A: It is best to be very careful
when placing your foot on the shoes to avoid misplacement. If you remove
your foot, then it may not stick very well after you reapply. Sometimes
it may be necessary to reactivate the glue before it will stick well to
your feet again.
Q: How do I store the shoes when they are not
being worn?
A: Do not put sandals together on the sticky side. They will
adhere to one another and when pulled apart, it can tear up the shoe.
Also do not put wax paper or saran wrap on them. Lay them side by side
not touching on the sticky side to any other objects.
Q: Will you match prices of competitors?
A: I believe we are already cheaper, but if you find them elsewhere
less expensive with the same shipping option, please let us know at the
time you place the order and we will try to match the price. Also check
out the sale priced shoes that are no one will buy....they still work
great and what a price!

Returns
All items sold with MFTH are personal care items, so if opened or used,
they cannot be returned, only items in resalable condition can be
returned and no returns after 30 days. Returns subject to a 10 %
restocking fee plus actual shipping charges. Please contact Mothering
From The Heart before sending any returns for approval.
Warranty
Contact the manufacturer directly for defective products. Breastpumps
are covered by the manufacturers warranty and they will vary according
to which product is purchased. Any defective products also need to be
reported to us!
